It goes without saying that Pharaoh Alkhisha had many entertainers among her servants. But her favourite by far was Kaz Bennu, the alluring phoenix, whose fiery feathers flowed through the air like no other’s ever did. And on the proud bird’s part, she so loved the praise she got from the very ruler of Egypt. Kaz had always aimed to impress the upper echelons of society, and to perform for royalty and gods satisfied her like her like nothing else could. Alkhisha’s tendency for bondage bothered her not one bit, after all, it just meant more worship for her beautiful body. And thus, when the pharaoh asked her to perform for both her AND the gods?
