Pharaoh Alkhisha, only member of her dynasty, was known for personally getting favours from the gods themselves. Her secrets may have been lost, together with most information about her existence, however. But as you can see, she could even make Bastet, godess of war and protection, bow to her will. If a little reluctantly, of course. =P
In a bright flash of light, Bastet materialised in the royal throne room. The ancient Egyptian goddess was a vision to behold, with her muscular and busty body, long black hair, lush purple robe and a voice that commanded respect and authority. “It is not often I deal directly with mortals, be they the new pharaoh or not. But then again no one has called upon me in such a way in centuries. I’m intrigued, why have you summoned me, Alkhisha?” The young and stunning figure of the pharaoh rose from her throne and strode towards her divine visitor, hips swaying seductively with each step. “Oh, but you will find I’m not like most mortals, honoured Bastet~” She gestured towards the hallways of gold and sandstone, her slender arm adorned with golden jewellery and a cape of sheer purple fabric, every movement regal and graceful. “We have much to discuss~”
“As a Protection Deity, you know more than anyone of the dangers threatening this kingdom.” The pharaoh explained to her divine guest. “My late husband would’ve plunged Egypt into war if it hadn’t been for his… untimely demise.” “While I admire your audacity for asking me directly.” Bastet interrupted. “But I do not bow to the every whim of mortals, Alkhisha. I would prefer if you had your priests send me the usual prayers and offerings as… is the… norm…” The godly feline suddenly felt a wave of fatigue creep up on her. Had she used that much energy stepping into the mortal realm?
No, there definitely was more going on, as Bastet felt her strength diminish quickly and fell to her knees. “What… is this…” Her eyes then fell on the curious inscriptions on the walls of the room they were currently in. “Ah yes, quite interesting, these hieroglyphs.” The sultry pharaoh grew an ominous smirk. “A scribe called Lehotep told me they could sap the strength of even the strongest divine beings. Such a helpful young man. Do you know him? He works in your temple after all~” “Y-you fiend…” The black cat groaned as scantily-clad servant girls approached to help her off the floor, and lay her down on a stone slab also in the room. More servants appeared, carrying rolled up strips of cloth on golden trays. There was little Bastet could do but weakly wriggle as on Alkhisha’s command, they started winding the bandages around her limbs, and then wrapped her arms and legs together. “You won’t get away with this.” But the pharaoh seemed to think otherwise, smugly approaching the captive goddess while balling up a large cloth in her hand. “Oh, worry not, Bastet. By the end of today, I will have convinced you to see things my way~ I can be very persuasive~” With great pleasure, she then stuffed the cloth into the protesting goddess’ mouth. “Grmmf! Mmmmph!!” Bastet growled into her new gagging, bandages being tightly wrapped over her mouth and muzzle seal her voice away.
“Oh, Bastet. Don’t think that I will keep you as an ordinary mummy~” Alkhisha gloated, signalling her servants to fetch a peculiar full body harness fashioned of gold, that they eagerly fitted around the wrapped-up goddess. “I have adornments fitting of your stature!” And that she did: Bastet was dressed in a patterned loincloth and headdress to cover the harness, with various jewellery added around that. “There, much, much better~ Now come~” The frisky pharaoh hooked up a leash around the golden collar that looped around Bastet’s neck, who was then led behind her captor, forced to hop and supported by two servants, into the palace gardens.
Once outside the cursed hieroglyph room, Bastet felt her strength return to her within minutes. But her divine power was not enough to break out of her thorough bonds and left her merely able to scowl and grumble into her gag while she was forced around the gardens. “As I was saying.” Pharaoh Alkhisha smugly resumed. “I would much desire if you personally saw to the protection of the great Kingdom of Egypt for the duration of my reign. I have big plans for this nation and there is no place for foreign or inside aggressors in this.” Bastet protested, struggling against her leash. “Grmmmm…” Her pride was deeply wounded by having fallen for this trap, and been overpowered by the queen that was supposed to worship her. “Of course, I can see why you would be reluctant in fulfilling my request, but remember: rumours spread quickly. If your followers got word that the pharaoh managed to put the mighty Bastet in bondage for her own personal pleasure, I cannot imagine it would do your reputation any favours.” Alkhisha chuckled softly. “But we have all afternoon, maybe even the evening~ You have an eternity to make your judgement~”
