For those who haven't heard, Tara Strong and Mark Hamill attended the Spike TV Video Game Awards as they had been nominated for their performances in Batman: Arkham City. They were seated in the bleachers, and their category was never even announced during the show. Apparently, the awards had already been given out to the winners during a smaller ceremony before the show started, and none of the other nominees (including Hamill and Strong) were told about it. Understandably, Tara raised hell about it on her twitter account while the show was going on (and Mark wasn't too pleased either). Both actors are well-established in the industry, and they deserve more respect and recognition than that.

I feel so bad for them.
They are very coool and your right they do deserve so much recognition and a hell of a lot more respect than that.
I'd have loved to see/hear Tara go off like that.
I hope somepony got it on type then posted it to YouTube!

Sadly, they never even appeared on camera (unless someone in the audience pointed a camcorder at them). All of their frustrations went to Twitter.

i get a MySpace and every one has a Facebook but me I get a Facebook now every one is on Twitter and if i get a Twitter it will explode!!

I hadn't realized. That is really weak of them. Who actually won? Hamill's rendition of "Only You" deserves some kind of award.

According to BlisteredThumbs, Ellen McLain won for playing GLaDOS in Portal 2, and Steven Merchant won for playing Wheatley, also in Portal 2. Now granted, those actors gave fine performances, and I'm withholding my own judgment on the matter until I can actually play through Arkham City. But the bigger point is that the nominees weren't even mentioned on the show. And the more I'm looking into it, it seems that more and more people who attended the ceremony were horribly disappointed with the way it was conducted.
