I did some research on those Main Force Patrol cars in the movie. Those are the high performance Australian version of the Ford Falcon.

Yes, the V8 Interceptor.
I've watched all the films of Mad Max (the first three with Mel Gibson and the last, Fury Road). Actually I'm playing on PC with the videogame...and my actual Magnum Opus have the bodywork inspired by the original Interceptor ;)
