Where did that slippery stuff come from? It wasn't in any of the previous shots we got of the catwalk. Now presumably it's the chemical that has bubbled over and popped throwing itself up there during the cut away, but if that's the case then how is it that it hasn't splattered on the ground anywhere else? From the few shots of the ground we get everything is completely clean (Though admittedly we didn't get to see a whole lot of it.) If there were bubbles big enough to throw the chemical up that high there should be a decent covering all around the vat.

Ah, yes you are correct. It is very hard to see but it's just there. It would need to have been a very large bubble to spray that amount of liquid up that high. The bubbles that are currently being made don't seem to be getting large enough for that, and even if it was only a one time huge bubble it or the smaller bubbles should still have managed to spray some of the liquid out in other places as well rather then just that one spot. Hmm... I suppose it could just be luck and happenstance that's why that is the only spot that has and of the chemical on it.
I'm also a little surprised that Twi managed (Flip?) right herself and catch onto the edge. Even if it wasn't slippery that's one hell of a feat.

In the middle panels, Twi seems to have fallen from the railing to the walkway floor, with no indication...
That aside, I'm surprised she's that petty. I'd have expected her grip to give out just as Kat reached for her. Blaming Kat for not being faster, despite her own yells at her hench-yoshis to not let her go, I could expect (Villains always rewrite history in their minds so they're always right, and their failures are never their fault, after all), but pulling the old 'I'm taking you with me', not so much.
