from a slot years ago when they were avalible. Since the archie comic has ended their sonic comic that means no more Sally and the Freedom Fighters. Sadly this was one of my favorite cartoons growing up right along side Ninja Turtles and Thundercats and many others. This is how i would have imagined the final showdown happening. Its not a happy ending but there may be a slight hope. Its up to you to interpete how it goes. Art by Dave and Liz.
I've heard it said that there is still a possibility for the Satam characters to return in the comics, but it won't be for an undisclosed amount of time. The only characters truly gone are those created exclusively for Archie, such as Geofrey, Elias Acorn, Mammoth Mogul, etc.
I'm still holding out hope that Sally, Bunnie, Antoine, and Rotor make some sort of appearance in the future, even if it's just a cameo or one-shot appearance...

my headcannon for this is sally tosses the ring to tails at sonics insistence, saveing tails but dooming sonic in the process but while robotnic is gloating over his 'victory' bunny rips open the reactor panel of that egg rider and shorts it out seting the whole thing up to blow, sally lupe bunny and tails run for there lives and robotnic is killed in the resulting blast, without there leader the robot army shuts down completly and victory is won, at the cost of the life of the worlds hero...tails goes on to marry bunny lupe returns to training, sally takes rullership of the acorn kingdom once more and eventualy takes a husband...she names her first child sonya, in honer of her first love and hero...and the world goes ever onward.

This was such an amazing show to only have lasted 2 seasons. I know I've said this before and I'll say it again until the end of time, but SatAM really deserved more than it got. It did for me for Sonic what Friendship is Magic did for MLP.
