This here is my very second attempt at digital art. I'm kind of happy for myself! Please be gentle with  me. I know its super crude and amateurish. It took about 5.5 hours. It could have taken less if I knew shortcuts like drawing the straight lines by  using a pattern and not individually by hand, selective coloring and painting in the middle of those lines again by hand.

We all start someplace 😊 Drawn with the Wacom Graphire 2 I got in 2002 and literally never used it until I dusted it off starting yesterday. I also took a crash course on Paint Tool SAI today. I honestly had never ever used a super fancy and complicated painting program in earnest until today. I literally used only the MS Paint classic just to do quick edits on photos. I did this messing around with the option settings as I went and watching short YouTube tutorials for super beginners.

I just came up with the goofy fox character and scene on the fly by sketching something and it went from there. I know, it's gotta' be the goofiest fox you've ever seen. I honestly never had a main theme, it just ended up like this.

I drew a very bad piece yesterday, I used a different drawing program to do yesterday's scrap.

my first computer art, March 23, 2018 the thing is in my scraps folder. I haven't drawn anything seriously since 2002 (my Al Bear reference sheet by hand) That's it since then.

The scrap piece tells the whole story.

I can't draw hands yet. That's why I copped out with the simplistic paws.

I done some doodling when I first got my tablet...Not to really draw anything at first, but to get a good handle on it.

You're getting better buddy! Over time you will get better and better and more familiar on different shapes and styles of characters with time and patience you will improve more little by little:-) when I first started drawing 3 years ago I drawed every day to try to get better at my drawing skills. It took a long time but it was worth it I just enjoy drawing a lot I used to draw a lot when I was a kid and getting back in that routine again I draw quite a bit even now :-) if you need help on anything please let me know I have a few good art books that show you how to draw cartoon animals and how to draw their Paws & Feet if you like to see them I will post them here on inkbunny if you like me to but that's up to you if you need any help just let me know ^W^ I like your drawing by the way I like the character that you drawled Keep up the good work my bear friend ^W^

An adorable and charming drawing, in my opinion. Does the character have a name? I wonder if he is plotting a midnight attack on the chickens, or maybe he is guarding them.

I hope you consider drawing him again sometime, mate.

Aww! Thank you for your nice words. I guess you interpret better than even I. No name. As I mentioned, I just wanted to make actually a new version of my fursona, it was supposed to be a bear and ended up looking like a goofy fox 😋 and then it needed a background. So this all happened on the fly, by accident. Thanks again.

You're more than welcome. I will say I'm a curious monkey with an active imagination. I would like to name the four chickens, please? I would like to name them Bianca, Lupita, Matilde and Rosa Alejandra.

The same happens to me often, what I intend to draw is not always the result I get, but I enjoy experimenting nonetheless. About the character, I like him as a goofy fox, and I think the background is perfect. I even find it to be relaxing.

Sure, my pleasure.

Aww! Thank you! what lovely names! Especially Rosa Alejandra! 😊 I have to find my Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes stuff I used to draw in 1990-1992 by hand and put them up here. They weren't real art persay as I just copied them by hand/poses ETC from existing smaller pictures.

I always wanted to learn how to draw better but never really caught the hang of it. I never had the patience. But I'm trying to start again.

You're more than welcome, pleased to know you liked the names.

That would be great, I would love to see your Looney Tunes drawings. You like Bugs Bunny, I will keep that in mind. I had a few digital drawings of him that I would have loved posting here. Unfortunately, due to recent events, I lost all my drawings along with my projects and so much more.

I understand, I must work on patience too. The more excited I am about a new project, the more desperate I become and I fail to focus. So, lately I've been teaching myself to be more patient. Like you, mate, I'm trying to start all over again.
