Why is Cooper assuming that Andy even has a study guide? Besides, if Andy needed a guide, I'm guessing he'd just go thru the entire book and copy down only the parts that he felt weak on. Material designed to help Andy go from a B to an A isn't likely to help Cooper's F.
But I predict that study logistics doesn't matter because Andy will try helping Cooper regardless, because Andy's role is to be the "nice guy" who doesn't know how to (to borrow a phrase from kilorat) "cut parasites like that" from his life. It just doesn't feel narratively right for Andy to know how to actively dismiss Cooper just yet. Maybe in chapter 2 of The Internship?
