One of the Characters form my comic Once Bitten

The comic is still in the planning stage, though it has been going on for a LONG time. Ive decided to work more on the characters and stuff.

Derezz Neurosis
Race: Demon
Age: 52 years old
Height: 6ft 7in
Weight: 210lbs
Hair: Messy, unkempt maroon red hair.
Eyes: Bright Red with dark red ring around the cornea
Meaning of Name: Derezz is a play-off of duress (meaning compulsion by threat) and deranged meaning to make insane. Neurosis is a mental and emotional disorder similar to but not as serious as psychosis and accompanied by various bodily and mental disturbances
Element & Powers: Physic and Blood magic; can see a person’s fears, best memories and desires.
Weakness: Likes to drink a lot, powers can easily be blocked physically, has a split personality, becomes insane while using his powers
Personality: Calm, collected, respectful, quite, romantic, polite
While using his powers: Cold, uncaring, sadistic, and psychotic
Weapons: Physic powers, whip cane, hand-to-hand combat

Description: Derezz is a skilled demon physic who specializes in torture. By just looking into a person’s eyes Derezz can see what wants and fears pains or comforts the person has. He is a very close friend of Ulysses and often assists him in his quest. Derezz is an experienced fighter and knows how to use his powers to the fullest. He will use a person’s worst fear or memory to mentally immobilize them, then either torture them till they bend to his will or they are killed. While using his powers to harm others he often seems out of control of both his powers and his own mental state.

History: Derezz was born into a royal family, choosing to leave his role as heir as the head of the family and journeyed across the land seeking a place where he could live his own life. He found the village of Vasslan where Ulysses was living. He and Ulysses became good friends and they eventually found their own girlfriends. The two couples would go on a pick nick almost every day for lunch or dinner. One day during a vacation in the mountains, the group was attacked by Demons. Derezz fought them off but was wounded in the process. The tired couples began their way home when they were sniffed out by a starving coven of Vampires who chased them into an open field where they were confronted by a pack of Werewolves who herded the group back towards the Vampires. Unable to fight, Derezz was knocked unconscious, leaving Ulysses, who would not perform much more than a simple illusion spell, to fend off the attacking Vampires. When Derezz awoke the next morning both of the girls were dead and Ulysses was unconscious on the ground, surrounded by a dark aura, known as the Skage (a type of Black Magic gathered from the depths of dark souls and people’s pain and anger. It consumes a person’s body and leaves their soul tortured and darkened.)
Since then Derezz has helped Ulysses train his Skage powers and has helped Ulysses in his dark needs. He holds parties with Ulysses and due to his attitude towards the guests is often confused as the host of the party when he is actually more like the butler. During the parties, Derezz is most likely to be found entertaining the ladies and some of the men on a couch or in Ulysses’ chair.
