Another Character form my comic, he will not make a debue for a long time though. I just though it'd be nice to have a new, up-to-date ref of him.

Element & Powers: Physic (Illusion based), Skage (A really strong, almost parasitic type of Black Magic); Can uses mind control and brain waves to cause people to do what he wants only by persuading them.
Weakness: Remembering his past, Is not too physically strong, Physic mind lock can be broken by a strong memory or other physic powers.
Personality: Calm, charismatic, headstrong, down-to-earth, persuasive, persistent, confident
Weapons: Can that holds a short sword attached to the handle.
Description: Ulysses is a gentleman like leader of a demon army. While not much of a fighter he can use his powers and charisma to make others bend to his will and fight for him. For about 30 years he has been building an army to destroy many of the races living in Alterion including humans and demons. Ulysses gives no reason why he wants to kill the off the races, other than that the races are “useless filth that plague the world with their stupidity and weakness.” His hatred for life may have been due to his conflict between his Skage powers and moral views. The death of his and Derezz’s (Ulysses’ best friend) girlfriends might also have something to do with his twisted mind.
History: Ulysses was born into a poor little village where he and his family struggled to live under the control of the lord in a nearby castle (which just happened to be Derezz’s father). When Ulysses was young, he met Derezz, who was running away from his controlling father, and the two became great friends, hanging out all the time and eventually finding their loves together. Back when Ulysses was about 28 he and Derezz were on a vacation with their girlfriends up in the mountains. While breaking camp the group was attacked by Demons. Derezz fended off the Demons but was wounded badly. Coming into the forest, the group was attacked again by a coven of starving Vampires, attracted by the smell of blood. Carrying Derezz, the group ran from the Vampires and emerged from the woods into a large field but was confronted face to face with a pack of Werewolves. The werewolves herded the group back to the Vampires where Derezz fainted from blood loss and Ulysses was left alone to defend the girls. Unable to use his physic powers on the attackers and too weak to fight, Ulysses was knocked around by the attackers while the girls were raped and killed. That was when a passing darkness know as the Skage (which is almost like a living entity that seeks out a “host”) took over Ulysses’ half dead body, giving him the immense powers of a dark mage. Ulysses killed the attackers with little effort and tried to revive the dead girls. Turning them undead and mindless, he was forced to kill them before they turned on the unconscious Derezz.
Ever since that day, Ulysses has become a twisted man due to his tragic past and the dark Skage powers coursing through his blood, which is slowly consuming his body, while his mind remains intact and pained by growing darkness and hatred. Ulysses hides all his dark feelings except when he is alone with Derezz who helps him cope with the Skage and has trained Ulysses to use his new powers without over taxing himself or losing control of the powers.
