Also #86 in the 100 Theme Challenge: Seeing Red Why? During this scene of Once Bitten, an entire town is mascaraed and Fang was unable to prevent it. Blinded by sorrow and anger, Fang will later enter into the Rage and finish off the attackers and almost attacks the one she is trying to protect.
Story: The Vampire advanced on the young half-elf as he squirmed in the dirt in pain, covering the fresh wound on his neck. It burned, blinded by pain the boy did not even see as the Vampire raised his clawed hand for the final strike. "Stay your hand Thanatose!" A great black wolf with golden stripes and a golden mane leaped from behind the boy and landed with a loud thud in between Thanatose and the boy, shattering the ground. "Why, if it isn't the little guard. Nice job on keeping us out Fang," Thanatose grind a wide toothy grin and lowered his hand to a relaxed position at his side, opening and closing it with anticipation. "I wouldn't show those baby fangs unless you plan to use them!" Fang snarled exposing razor sharp fangs and raising her head, taking a step towards Thanatose. Thanatose chuckled evilly and settled down into a crouch. Fang responded with her own crouch. "I made a mistake of letting you live once, I wont make that same blunder again!" Fang and Thanatose leaped into the air simultaneously, meeting in mid-air in a mass of paws, claws and teeth.
