This is Maple Antlerhog, the mother of Ranger Antlerhog. I pretty much redrew her cause the older image didn't feel right from an aesthetic perspective. Wanted to make her face look more bold and well drawn and update a property about her. As you can see, she now lacks fur on all parts of her body except her hands, feet, and face, hence her leaf bra as she can't "sheathe" her nipples like most other female Mammal Stars could. This was caused by an explosion that happened in the mines near where she lived and was the primary catalyst for Ranger assuming his very park protective personality. Though she's fine and still watches over the mountain.
1. As stated, I might or might not eventually change her last name to something that flows better and is easier to pronounce. She's half Hedgehog (Spinerizu) and half Deer (Faunapiko), but I'm sure something will come up, or I'll just keep it Antlerhog, but it's kind of unlikely as I'm REALLY not feeling the lastname.
2. Maple was somewhat inspired by that female half deer character in Spyro, but instead of making her a minotaur, I had her story drive home the destructive nature of ignoring pollution (as is the theme of Johnathy's game and story). Don't worry, it's not an anti-business message, just more of a "Clean up after you're done" message.
3. Maple somewhat ironically wears nothing more than leaves covering her privates. Because she lacks fur, she can't naturally censor herself and appears as nude as a human without clothes. Though the leaves censoring her isn't used as articles of clothing as much as ironic humor, and yes, she's aware of the irony since normally, she'd probably just be nude without a care. She lives in a nature reserve on a mountain after all, quite far from her sister's snowy metropolis.
4. She's a hybrid, but it's unknown who her parents are (though I have imagined Maple and Aurora being raised as children), It may just be a case where she's a Spinerizu who happens to have antlers for no real reason, as it's kind of unlikely a Faunapiko would've existed to give birth to her and Aurora since the Klapiko species didn't even exist until Mammary and Faunelle found Starmaninja 2000 years BN (Before Ninjaratzu, the point of which Kao Ninjaratzu was (re)born.)
