This is Zenny Zenokoya, the very second original character I created (gosh that was when I was like 9 or 10 I think, it was in 4th grade). His physical appearance has changed as he used to be anthro but now he's quadruped to explain why Zodia is also quadruped, but this guy has been around longer than even Kao has (well sort of, I used to always draw myself as Kao, but never gave him a name until I was in high school).
1. Zenny is to Koyas as Kao is to Ratzus. They were both created for a similar purpose, but both ended up being the primary male representative of the species. Granted there were male Koyas that existed before Zenny such as Ebony and even Ifrit, but to the Starmaninjians, Zenny is given more seniority since he helped revive the Koya species. As such Zenny and Kao pretty much have the same personality, just Zenny is about twice as big.
2. Zenny used to be half Cheetah, half Lion, but drawing all the spots on him was tedious. I made him half tiger half Lion, but that didn't end up making much sense, so now he's just a pure lion. He is purple with white feet, keeping in line with the Zenokoya's color scheme.
3. Zenny is one of the primary reasons Zodia and Zenna became so infatuated with Kao Ninjaratzu. He reminded them so much of their father, as Zenny is very protective of his daughters and very strong, only really holding his wife, Zenni in higher order, but treating his daughters as if they are his leaders as well (which they become anyway).
4. Zenny mostly spends his time with Raymond Crystoya in attempt to help revive Cavertain. He does meet Kao eventually, but they don't really get to KNOW each other until way in the future after most of the story has been settled.
5. Again, this guy existed before Kao did. He was inspired by Calvin and Hobbes (just as Raymond, my first original character, was). His old backstory involved him being a human who was turned into a lion by an experiment before escaping on a rocket to an unknown planet, but pretty much every aspect of his old story was scrapped except for one, and that's the fact that he's mildly hydrophobic and can't swim for some reason (he actually can and is a great swimmer, but his brain keeps telling him he can't).
