Got asked a few things about how I do arts. c: So here's one of those things!

So I have two settings, the only real difference being the smoothing. For more "rough"-looking doodles, I prefer to have no smoothing; smoothed for when I do commissions, since that looks more professional... ish. :D

I wish I could use that.
But it's both Windows and payware. If it was free, I would be willing to run it in Wine.

If you're looking for free, try Krita.. it's fantastic, and absolutely free.  https://krita.org/en/

I can get Krita from my repository. I am specifically looking for something in which I can make traditional-looking art. I'm currently facing quite of a crisis here and my habit of coloring with pencil might become unsustainable soon. But I prefer the traditional look over the digital one. I heard it's more of a matter of technique rather than software used. What do you think?

Before we can go on, can we talk via PM? I don't want to run a chat in someone's comment box..w.'

Admittedly, it's not that expensive, especially compared to others, though I totally get what you mean ;3;

As for the style, it's... it's different than really working with a paintbrush. I mean, since it's a tablet and not a brush! Still, the results are pretty much exactly what traditional looks like, especially if you fiddle with the settings. :3

And no worries! I hope that maybe people can find help with these, so sharing information in the comments isn't a bad thing! >:3
