Often have I mulled over, in the back of my mind, the concept of a war between Heaven and Hell. A bit of a dark concept, it has actually inspired several drawings, poems, and even a few short stories.
Of course, some of the most prominent and fearsome beings in the army of Hell would be Demons. And, of course, in order for Heaven to successfully lay siege to the deeper parts of the Land of the Lost Souls, these massive, powerful beings must be felled.
The Fallen are men who once lived in darkness, and were condemned to an eternity in despair, until they walked into the light, and joined the armies of Paradise. Though not permitted to enter heaven, they fight bravely for her glory.
Here, we see a pair of Fallen Hunters, highly aggressive and tactful soldiers who focus on the act of fighting demonic beings, as they move in to engage the Greater Demon Azsahel. A massive creature, his body nearly covered by rock-solid exoskeleton, he weaves through the nearly impassible mountains surrounding the innermost vallies of Hell, devouring all who cross his path.
Though his death would strike a crippling blow to Hell's forces, engaging Azsahel is considered an act of suicide, as large forces of men have been lost in the attempt. He is truly a force to be reckoned with.
However, this is where our hunters come into play. Kirill, our swordsman, having proven his ablilities with a blade, rushes the creature, holding his shield high as he moves to strike the exposed forearms, while, up above, Aurelius, the left-handed archer, readies a shot from an unseen position, hoping to land a killing strike between the armor plates of the beast's neck.
