Before I fully lost interest in the calendar, I skipped ahead a few months to Ms. September to celebrate the premiere of Star Trek: The Original Series. Wanting a fox other than the ubiquitous reds, I chose a gray, stuck her in a red Operations uniform with a Starfleet Command insignia, gave her a phaser and a hairstyle probably nicked from Number One, and crossed my fingers in hopes she'd survive the episode. She's been only partly colored these past few years until I finished them up tonight.
I've long considered a series of furry characters wearing different Starfleet uniforms from throughout the years, from either the early days of the NX-01 or from Pike's voyages, through Kirk's era, to the adventures of the Enterprise-D, Deep Space 9, and the Voyager, and even to the 28th century and the Mirror Universe.
was a later attempt at the theme, aborted because I'm lousy at working at and finishing a series — like the calendar.
