WHAT THE HELL IS THIS WHERE'S THE BABYSITTING CREAM DEMO AVAL0X I HATE YOU BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH...

anyway, this morning I looked out the door and found a babybasket, upon opening it I saw the most beautiful creature in the world, a cute 4''x3'' Digipro Drawing Tablet, there was no note, save for an instruction manual, driver CD and stylus with holder. I took it in instaled the driver and took it for a spin. Clearly I am vastly inferior to ALL other artist out there since I've always drawn on sketchbooks by hand.

for those who know me from way back I did have a huge tablet, unfortunately it was incompatible with Windows 7...anyway, I gotta keep practicing.

also, scripts for the game are coming along fine, and grose never ceases to amaze me with his mastery of awesome art

In all honesty I'm just happy to know the game is moving alone fine. I'm also happy to hear that you've gotten a tablet back, and don't worry you'll get better quickly, you just need to get used to the tablet, since you have much less free room then your used to having, even on a tablet.

I could never draw that well on a tablet, tried it once and failed horribly lol
Nurture that baby well and it'll be even better that little sketchbook who'd be in the rebelious stage :P

As long as the bcg is going along how you want it and is released when you want it, I'm happy waiting since I got the other version right here on my comp :D

There's a lot of tweaking you can do to that tablet... and generally speaking drawing a larger size image then shrinking will help with jitters in the linework =)

ive been thinking about getting one myself, just cause i'd rather not have to deal with all the paper and pencil gunk, erasier burn, etc. that comes with regular drawing. *need to do more research... any ideas?*

i know right. the best thing I've ever opened the door to is a massive bunch of roses

yeah it sounds nice but get this.

im horrible allergic to them, i get a really bad rash and sores all over my body so for the next 2 weeks i couldn't move and i couldn't change the channel of my TV (which was stuck on Dave) so i spent two weeks slowly going insane from watching the same episode of top gear over and over again.

still its the thought that counts :)

How slick is the surface of the tablet?.. Your used to moving one implement against a given surface, teh sketchpad, and the tablet most likely will have different friction, texture, compliance values. If you place the top sheet of your sketchpad over the tablet, you might be able to solve two problems at once?. .Drawing on what you know, while entering it into teh computer at the same time?

Fastest way I know of making dual entry systems reliably. 8)

I draw at 2000x2000 pixels and up to reduce shakiness and pretty much sit on the undo button as Ctrl+Z when I draw. Most tablet artists do, the only people surprised by this are fans who have never watched a digital artist drawing in Livestream, like, ever.

This tablet will probably last you longer than your game project, if I had to guess, and you don't have any weird driver issues like I do.

As my friend Lost teases in Skype (mimicking some fan's responses): "The hell is this? This isn't porn. Or furry. Or ponies. And the people in your stream goes from 45 to 5... "
