It's interesting how the original characters take on a life of their own after a while if you draw them enough. Carnifex drew Bristle Brush and his missus (I didn't catch her name but she's unique) and this pic was probably begun by 2 things: the other collaborator trolling on the previous picture, and him going "I'm going to draw me drawing you" and my "PONYCEPTION" response.
I was all like "fancy meeting you here again!" in the OpenCanvas chat and this resulted. Carnifex drew and inked and colored his, and I inked and colored and mine on the left side.
Basically, the original characters are gaining a backstory and I think it's funny. I would like to do a real background one of these evenings though...

Carnifex is fun to draw with, I like his happy style. The ponies are so cute and expressive, he comes in with the approach of a raw cartoonist. I tend to work a little more methodically overall, and I definitely noticed how slow I am.
