Like I said before, if she does kill Kei the main repercussions would only be to her. She would have to live with what she did, but once the village knows the reasons they wouldn't hold it against her. The attitude toward her would however change drastically. The best outcome here would be for her the female ninja following her to get involved and spill the beans about the murder of Jessica's mother because of Kei. The village punishment would be much worse than anything Jessica could come up with.
