I've been slacking on the photos this year - I apologize!  I've got some, but…

To start to make it up to you, have a leak!  This year our Reindeer corps ditched the LED illuminated nose rings, going back to the classic brass jewelry.  The "Rudolph ring" won't be missed, however - we're just switching our light source.  That's right - this year, we used bioluminescence.  The luciferase system we used will be delivered via viral-encapsulated plastid, with genes taken primarily from corals - unique as a source of red bioluminescent light.  In mass production, the delivery mechanism will be a microneedle sticker, adding only a few seconds to our famously-efficient assembly line processing.

By now, we've discovered that the viral vector we selected was either used in too large a dose, or was more prone to migrating than we expected, because it's left me with a subtle glow in other mucus membranes when I get emotionally worked up, most noticeable in my mouth and penis.  Go ahead and make your glowstick jokes, I'll wait…
