On a warm sumer Christmas Eve, the family's Christmas shopping is finally done, and Lykann has promised to take Nate and Xander fishing.
Of course Xander, as typical of about any cub his age, eventually has his mind on making a toy of his line float. He is also looking foward to what Santa Bear will bring by tomorrow morning, and the Christmas dinner with that Australian tradition, that crisp, creamy pavlove, topped with strawberries and kiwi slices.
Lykaan finally has to get onto Xander that you'll never catch fish playing with the line like that.
As for floatation devices...not to worry...There are three, certified, floatation cushions on the floor of the boat if needed.
The boat motor shown is a 1954 Evinrude Fleetwin, 7.5 horsepower...They weren't exactally what anyone would call a 'hot rod' motor, but they would last seemingly forever, and you couldn't maul one unless you really really tried.

Pavlova... not had that in years XD. As for tradition, every year my parents make a trifle. (Sponge cake soaked in gelatine, with layers upon layer of different flavours, and fruit. Nice layer of cream and fresh strawberries on top XD)
