I'm not good at verbally explaining these things but I do get some questions...So...here's this!
I'm not good at making tutorials and I don't really know how to make good, comprehensive ones...but...yeah.
In high school I basically taught my art teacher what layer clipping was. It's not something hard to learn but can be a time saver once you do, in my opinion.
'Course I'm using Clip Studio but it works in basically anything that has layer clipping. It might be called something different depending on what you're using but it's typically the same kind of name. (In SAI it's called "Clipping Group" and it's a small check box)
Clipping can help cut down on work here and there so you don't have to do a bunch of erasing to make something fit. Of course it won't work for every kind of picture under the sun but it could always be a ltitle useful.
I'm PROBABLY going to make a few more small things, mostly just detailing how I work.
Uh, have fun, and I hope this is good! Ask me anything you may need. c;
