Technically? "In theory" would be more appropriate of a term because we do not know how many creatures she has fought, how many were harmonized, and of those she thinks she has harmonized actually survived the processes. In her time, she could have unknowingly killed dozens in this process and think she is doing a good job of good.

I dunno, I'm pretty sure she'd notice if the thing she's harmonizing suddenly dropped dead....its heavily implied that harmonizing is harmless. Unless you happen to be a walking corpse

I doubt she would notice, because all she is looking at a status bar and at the person. When she thought she won against Rarity, she was about to walk away, not "check up on the body." This says that in doing such so many times, she's no longer checking if they survived or not, but that she vanquished the HP Harmony points to zero. In that alone, who knows who had died from her actions?

All things on earth are either "Live" , "Dead" , or "Non-Living", Same applies to Equestria outside of the celestial beings like The Changeling Queen, Discord, Celestia, Luna and others like them. Harmony then must give dead and non-living things life to animate themselves through a consciousness. Removing that Harmony kills that being into a dead or non-living and inanimate thing.

Or so the theory goes.

I do have to question, when has Harmony become a thing of evil?

Valid points Vavacung.

But it does not answer my question of why and when when has Harmony has become something that is evil?

It is like my statement of "If patience is a virtue then why is evil willing to be so patient in waiting over 1000 years for the right moment to act?

I think she's measuring something else and thinking it is harmony. Or am I getting something here confused with something else?

Harmony isn't evil thing. They just power to purifier corrupted creature. They just a tool. It's just like a gun. To use it for good or for bad it up to the user. Do banished corrupted Luna (Nightmare Moon) to the moon for 1000 years mean this power is evil or not? Will it make Celestia evil?

Little AJ don't know Nightmare Rarity at all....How can she know that she is a people from 150+ years ago. She have no knowledge on that like us reader do. Is she really be her mother's friend? Or it's just a lie to sway hero mind? She is completely stranger to her. A stranger with Rank-S darkness...

The biggest clue should have been obvious. Running away so fast like that usually implies fear for one's life. Second biggest, she wouldn't fight back until she had no other option. Third, when she did fight back, she held back, a lot. Evil doesn't run, it always fights back, and it never hesitates to kill.

Well, evildoers can certainly have the brains to assess a situation & retreat, but assuming that's the only reason for a suspect to flee (e.g. "They looked sketchy, and ran 'cause they were sketchy, and resisted 'cause they were sketchy"...) is how you get crap like that Stand Your Ground(C) litigation.

....and come to think of it, what kinda Harmony Mojo(C) enlists independent-contractor dragons to KER-SPLODE your poor wretched dark-magick victims into submission? Talk about under-the-table vibes.

But in this case, no such assessment was made. Rarity greeted AJ, AJ attacked Rarity without any provocation, using the 'she looked sketchy' justification without checking her facts first, and Rarity took off running like Tirek was at her hooves. At no point did Rarity fight back, until she was cornered, tired, and out of options. And when she did, she only stunned AJ, before restraining her. By then, AJ should have shut up and listened, instead of insisting Rarity was a threat with no evidence to back up her assumptions.

I think the dragons were more like emergency backup for situations where AJ couldn't do enough damage, or if she was on the ropes and just needed either some breathing room or one last attack to finish off her target if she had no other means to do so without getting hurt, or worse. She's more of an anti-hero. She'll save the day, but she'd use whatever means necessary if she could justify them to herself.

Your dragon-related conjecture seems about right. Also agreed re: Minijack pressing the attack with next to nothing in the way of sound analysis, since apparently up to this point all her dark-magick-infused foes have been berserk forest critters. What says 'potential for sneaky scheming supervillain' about *that* track record? She'd have been better off asking Skunkstripe Squiggley if treatment was needed, not launching into PURGE MODE straight out the gate.

A cunning villain could just as easily pose as a friend, build up trust, and then proceed to trick the new six into attacking him or her for seemingly petty reasons, or by using an illusion spell on themselves (or dropping one if they're corrupted) to appear differently (falsify a harmony bar via illusion and have AJ seem to assault the bearer for no reason and claim violent tendencies to have gotten out of control perhaps) and invite one to attack, lead them to the others, and with a few allowed minor injuries, easily get them to turn on the one and have her imprisoned or banished. A somewhat difficult gambit, but so long as it damages the trust between the others and removes one, possibly the most dangerous, from play, it can be severely effective.

A temper like hers, combined with a tendency to act first and think later, and compounded by the mindset of 'dark and sketchy means evil every single time without exception', means she has serious issues. Given that she was born with hands and has to wear hoof shaped gloves to seem like any other pony, she probably grew up feeling outbof place, or thinking she was some kind of freak, and since she has been fighting deadly monsters, mostly alone, for a good part of her formative years, her social skills are probably lacking.

Going by what we've seen of her, I'm led to think that she actually prefers battle because, in her mind, it's what she knows, and it's a place she doesn't have to pretend to be something she's not. Downside, she probably doesn't know how to turn that part of herself off, meaning she's always on the lookout for something to fight, waiting for something in the shadows to stomp out and start something so she can get back to what she's familiar with. When you train a warrior to fight, but neglect to teach them how to do anything else, it makes being normal that much harder, if not impossible (Oghren explains it better). And AJ seems like she'd have ignored those lessons anyway.

Again, solid point re: the potential of an actual Scheming Baddie baiting Applejunior out of her Harmony Squad's good graces. A bit more consistent teamwork & less Apple-clan insular problem-solving might help her develop that crucial nuance.
