Warning : a lot of 4th wall breaking and referencing. Sharing universe with "To Love God - To Love Mortal" and "To Love Alicorn" but in the future and more crazy. And a continue story of "Crazy Future"

I think a lot of us see that coming. Tho you could be right on the mane thing too. AJ just might cut a chunk of her mane off just to see what her reaction would be. I would not be at all surprised to see the next page show us rarity laying on the ground in a heap while clutching something unseen in panel one, panel two showing a rather horrified/surprised little aj, then panel three pans out and around to show rarity clutching her mane and sobbing over it, lamenting the loss of such a beautiful mane and in panel four we see AJ standing over her saying something to the tune of 'yup, your the rarity i know alright." with a smile on her face.

Given the way things have played out thus far, I could fully believe all of that would happen! Though I would think it more likely the reveal about her mane would be on a new page, letting everyone wonder for awhile about weather or not she really did it.

Applejack's stated that she knows her daughter well. Also she is the element honesty maybe just maybe she can hear or feel the truth and Rarities speech. So all this we have to do now is wait and see
