Well, I never really followed digimon past the first season released in the US, so I can't really comment on these characters..

I was rather annoyed at the girl during the first part of the series. Later on I just wanted to her her all smexified with Renamon. =p Nice sketch!

Episode 6 is when I think Rika/Renamon first really bonded. It was the first time she admitted she cared for Renamon and she wasn't just data. First time Renamon digivolved and there was some crying and confession of emotion.

Episode 10 has Rika not using Renamon against a strange new monster to protect her. Some sad stuff tho and a split.

Episode 12 they make amends from episode 10.

Episode 18 has some development, next digivolution for Renamon.

Episode 39 Rika and Renamon merge together.

There might be more, but found those with the help of wikipedia. =p Tamers was the only show I really watched at all, been a while tho. Its not super-shippy, but I liked it when I was younger. Always have big yuri goggles on when I watch anime. =3

actually it looks a lot like one of the scenes in the actual series almost. From around the time when they first introduce her as a fighter with Renamon. the only real difference is the can didn't say "not pepsi" on it, great detail on this one really.

Maybe it was based, by description, on a scene from the show? I wouldn't know.

The commissioner provided me with a Poser 3d mock up as reference because s/he wanted a particular angle and position on them.

I like the nonchalant pose of Renamon, I think that's a nice capture of per personality. The same goes for Rika.

By the way their expressions goes, it looks like they're watching someone or something before they go in themselves, Rika's being serious and taking in the information while Renamon just watches for the amusement of it all, because she know's it's no threat.

I haven't seen the commissioner's descriptions for the expressions, so I wouldn't know, I'm only describing what i'm seeing through personal experience in artwork. *shrug*

I'd have preferred if it was "Not See Cola". It's basically Crystal Pepsi made by a German company. The irony of that just makes it funnier. :D

Wow. This is all pretty solid! I'm not a huge fan of the characters, but the coloring, shading, details... the anatomy, everything looks really... pleasing to the eye. I can't really articulate specifics beyond that, I'm sorry. :(

Excellent pic, I like the shading in general, but .... handled the previous drawing a color gamma on yellow, giving the sensation of the afternoon in the drawing, I noted this is some dark, losing the light of sunset.... I don't see the mistake that you mean in the shoe X3...
