Since I originally posted "Where the Lightning Hit", I added two beginning pics (regular and a close-up) showing the step leader that makes the way for the main bolt just micro-seconds before it strikes.

Those two added pics have just the right lighting to really give them a spooky eerie effect.
The only problem with how I originally done those two pics were I made the leader bolt way too big for what a step leader is suppose to be.

There are some videos that show ultra slow motion videos, photos and illustrations of step leaders just micro-seconds before the actual lightning bolt forms;

Now that I've corrected it, I have to say I am well pleased with the change, and the two step leader pics do have more of a scary, eerie and wicked look to them...And they look the way a pre-lightning step leader is suppose to look.

I have also added two pics beyond two of the originals which show more of that almost blinding bright flash from a nearby lightning strike at night.

Provided I don't discover any further discrepancies, I now have that posting the way I want it.
