This was seen from a satellite 130 miles up in orbit as it passed over the part of Angola where the village is. In two of the pics, Sy and Zella Ardwolf can be seen standing near their flatbed truck. They are giving instructions to their son, Hiraldo, for delivery of some tractor parts to the cotton farm / fabric mill further to the north. The family who owns the cotton farm had Sy order the tractor parts for them from a place in Pocolo.
That does seem to be the norm. People may not be big enough for most satellites to see. Then I've heard there are military satellites that can read the starting instruction plaque on a piece of equipment.
