In a peaceful, rural community in Arkansas, the animals here are having a good time celebrating the 4th of July at the home of the two bear cousins.
It is a pleasant evening shortly after dusk with the lightning bugs (fire flies) flying about, and there is plenty of cake, snacks, homemade limeade and home brewed ice tea in the house.
The bears are sending up sky rockets. As for the a opossum, she has lit of a string of firecrackers. And the raccoon is just content with lighting his sparklers ...The kind of fireworks these animals are setting off here are not outlawed in the State of Arkansas. There are legal there. (after all, this is not California, Virginia, New York or Florida).
