The com is like a sat-phone, as opposed to cell phone that uses ground based antennas. So, assuming you didn't forget your charger, it will work anywhere.

In the last panel, there is no rhyme or reason to the architecture of the buildings. I just sketched what immediately came to mind.

WHat a strange conglomeration of Architecture in your world.

Yeah, it was supposed to be a big blend of cultures, so massed a bunch of stuff together. You probably won't see a lot of that, it takes too long to do.

Being the fact I live in Real World Boston, I think I see about two or three buildings that should actually exist... and have to lawl at the rest.

That's funny, for the most part I just made all these up.

Well, I think I spot what could pass for the Zakam Bunker Bridge, and maybe the Prudential building, but the pru's a pretty standard building. Although the hanging Gardens is new.

The Bridge and Prudential Building are probably inspired by the real things, those being the most prominent features I remember from being there.

Understandable. The Zakim only stands out amongst the old cityscape of Boston. The Pru's not too recognizable compared to the Hancock tower, but it IS a central hub for the hub.

Join the club.  I try alot of things and I'm not good at a few. Well it is a ficticious world you have here even tho some things are familiar yet they are different.  That's what makes this comic so special. :-)

Thanks, that's a good description for it. Ficticious and foreign, yet with familiarity.

I was trying to make it look like a different time or era with more influence from architecture around the world.

Nice job on Boston. Being from Boston, I can see the blend of cultures Boston is famous for. You even drew the [Banknorth] Garden nice. I even see a tower that could pass for a future John Hancock Tower. Nice art all the way.

Thanks! Yeah, I tried to remember some of the buildings from when I was there.

The owner of the yacht must be a musician.  That bass clef symbol gives it away, to me anyway.

When I did this page back in the day, I didn't even know what that symbol was. I just saw it in Photoshop's symbols collection and thought it looked cool.

Interesting.  I studied music for a few years back when I was younger than Chucky is here.  I can still read music but, the only way I can play music is on the radio or CD player.  LOL.
