It's an Deathclaw from the Fallout universe. More specifically the Hairy Deathclaw from Fallout Tactics.
I haven't yet built a story for him, though. ^^;

Don't know the game Fallout. Not a big game player, mostly from Xbox, PS(x) well any TV console ^^

It's a game (started as an isometric roleplaying game, then later FPS RPG) with a post-apocalyptic setting.
The Deathclaws are huge lizard (even bigger since Fallout 3), but Fallout Tactics is the only time they had patches of fur:
