Just before ordering my sad wallet reminded me of my sordid reality. An order of coffee and croissant for her and for me just water. She took notice of what i did but i assuaged her that I normally don't have breakfast.

She then told me that she used to live in the slums much like this area when she was little. I find it hard to believe due to way she speaks and the uniform she's wearing. She also said her uncle adopted her after her parents died. Although, he is not much older then her.

After some time, I convinced her to stay at my apartment. "Feel free to make yourself at home" I told her, "I'm barely at home. So during the weekday you can use my bed all you want." She didn't like the idea, "Don't worry! I'll just use the sofa."

I didn't know whether she doesn't like beds or she was afraid of sleeping alone again.
