A drawing for Paul Kidd of a rat girl surviving in the dangerous desert wastes off the trade of trinkets and treasures. I tried out a few new techniques with my media in this one to give starker shading, better environmental texture, and shinier metal.

Ink, colored marker, and watercolor on 9x12" cold press board.

P.S. I've read two of Paul's novels ("Whisper of Wings" and "Fangs of K'aath") and I can totally endorse both of them. Very enjoyable reads!
