All I can say is I'm glad it was just number 1 and not 2.
I'm no good when it comes to advise like this because all I would say is, "Dude, just chill. You're being too hard on yourself. All you and everyone else can do is your best. Try not to tense up and panic when those winds hit and you'll do just fine." I'm basically the 'just relax and you'll do fine' kind of advise giver, when in reality I probably don't give a shit at all.

As a truck driver I am under constant scrutiny from the Department of Transportation, so much as go up on a curb and the Dept. of Homeland security has a warrant out for your arrest. I have had multiple nightmares about crashes and accidents. Heck I actually lost control once when the steering column disconnected while I was on an interstate. That is something that puts fear in you like nothing else.
