WAAAHHHH I've been working really hard for the last two weeks on this model and it's turned out SO WELL!
The model is made in Live2d, free version, and I've got it working with FaceRig here, using my webcam to mirror my facial expressions and movements! I streamed earlier today and will do so in the future. Might stream games with this as well if there's any interest!!
I'm using the PS3Eye camera, it's only about 5 dollars, has a very high frame rate which is good for face tracking. You might need to play around with your room's lighting though.

Oh my god, this is SO COOL!!! It makes me wanna have someone use this model over Skype, and say naughty things to me...now I wish that there was a software like FaceRig that uses the entire body, and actually looks cool. Then we could have Kaitty teasing us over live chat. :P nice work on the model, I am VERY impressed. ...I think I have a crush on this adorable pop-tart flavored cat now.

Same. It tracks movement of the face with several axis, but I would looove some arm and hand tracking!
However, you can press buttons to do special actions, and with those, control arms, or do simple pre-recorded gestures. I haven't set up any for Kaitty yet (I can't add too much without starting over from scratch unless I get the pro version..) aside from a blush toggle.

I was just playing around with this! Man, it would be cool to have one of these of my fursona... Though I'm less cartoony, so I doubt it would really translate as well as yours.

The more details, the harder it is to rig in Live2d. Shading, for example, is kind of a nightmare right now. Face shading gets messed up whenever the eyes open or close, since you have to use face-colored covers to hide the eye whites and inside of the mouth.
Live2d 2.1 will alleviate this with layer masks but facerig doesn't support it yet.

I know this is over 2 years old but.... could you, maybe could you give me a hand or some tips!? I want to do something like this. I downloaded the app already, just need some initial help with this. I'm kind of lost with the online tutorials.
