Just for the heck of it (and quite on a whim), I decided to make a game in a single sitting to take my mind off the rabbits. Everything in it was made either by me, QuinnOfHearts ( https://inkbunny.n...
Short version: I'm a weird furry and an indie game developer.
I'm a jack of all trades, in some ways. I go as a scarfed pikachu with pince-nez glasses. There's not much special about my fursona. I'm really nerdy and extremely cringey in person and I have developed a verbal tic (I say "chu!" at the end of certain sentences.)
I'm an amateur 3D artist who predominantly uses Blender. Other tools I use a lot in my workflow are CorelDRAW/PHOTO-PAINT and 3D Coat. I'm skilled in Photoshop/Illustrator as well. I consider myself a professional game developer now. I was scared of the toxicity of that market, but I'm going for it and making it my career. I've programmed in C++ for years. I also have extensive experience with Lua, having made my own game engine which is scripted with it. I'm skilled in C#, and also with the Unity engine. I tinker with Python, but I haven't used it for enough projects to truly say I'm skilled in its nuances.
I once tried making a career out of 3D art, but I eventually gave up, realizing that it didn't stimulate me as much as coding, art, and design did when combined. I have a great variety of skills and I need the stimulation of being to switch between different roles as I feel like. That's why I'm going with being an indie developer.
