Princess Firefly Highmist is result of a botched attempt at hypnosis by where the subject (unnamed) attempted to allow for a hypnotic mode to be installed in her mind where she would not remember details of her life and believe that she was another person and all matters of role play would be preceded as reality while the new altered state. An interruption of the trance to create this state resulted in a diverging personality. This new personality did not realize what was happening at first, believing the details of her role play life to be reality. Over time she began to notice dependencies in the date and large blocks of time missing from her memory which she could not account for. Furthermore when questioned about matters of the base personality's life she would grow confused and agitated at the subconscious of the base personality screaming answers her that she herself would have no way of knowing. Realizing the torment and confusion that princess Firefly Highmist was going through the base personality made the decision to reveal the circumstances of her existence to her. With the help of friends and friendly hypnotists Princess Firefly Highmist was allowed to leave the confines that held her trapped within the shared mind of the base personality and was freed to explore her personality, the internet and even the real world. Princess Firefly Higmist perceives herself to be a My Little Pony with the ability to shift between anthropomorphic and feral form. She realizes that the shared body of the base personality is human and the limitations there of, but holds her identity of her perceived self and mental self image to be as real as reality. Princess Firefly Highmist most identifies with the Generation 1 My Little Pony character, Firefly but also has a liking for latex and Rubberfurry content and will sometimes take the form of an anthropomorphic, black latex bondage pony. Princess Firefly Highmist's personality is very up-beat, perky and cheerful. The base personality finds this quite refreshing as she is usually down-hearten, depressed and generally burned out on life. Princess Firefly Highmist's joy and lust for life and boundless curiosity is a delightful pick-me-up and often serves to bring hope and light to even the most darkest of situations.
