Janet Merai is back?

Well, kind of.

Its been a long time since I have been to InkBunny, but so far I am enjoying it more than Furaffinity.

I hail from Pixiv though, I love it far more than all these furry sites combined.
Has anyone noticed more art less bitchy journals on Pixiv too?
Yeah, I wish people were less bitchy online and more productive.
Ah yes, most of you can't read or speak a word of Japanese like I can, so, my Japanese fans hail from Pixiv as well :3
I warned you, I am bilingual in English and Japanese XD

My Pixiv page:

Still, everyone goes to Furaffinity by default, but, I have realized a lot of my fans are now coming from SoFurry and this website than Furaffinity... which kind of surprises me.
All the private messages, comments and instant messages have my fans begging me to post my art on these websites... so I am back I guess lol

Last I went to this site, it was still in its infancy and not a lot of people posted... now its almost far more popular than Furaffinity and SoFurry combined.
Maybe its the cub porn everyone ditched FA for?

Anyway, I am back and working on a game project dedicated to the Furry Fandom as my own startup company when I get to it on KickStarter.

If you want to help out, stay in touch! :3

Welcome back to Inkbunny. :)

It's true in the past people came here for cub porn but that has changed with most of the cub artists being here. Harassment is the number one reason for people moving here now, although a lot choose Tumblr over here. I see a lot of toxic comments and journals on FA and SF but not so much on IB. People here are much more chilled out and open-minded. The staff is also approachable, helpful, and sane.

What kind of game are you working on? I'm a programmer and interested in hearing more about it.

That's nice to know lol
Fans of mine here are quite mellow, which kind of makes me flattered XD

I'm working on an action adventure rpg game, similar to the 3D Zelda and Uncharted games, of course with its own unique features and style :3

Its a game about a Tanuki kemono/furry girl making difficult decisions that affect the entire outcome of the story and game itself plus how it all unravels.
There is more to it, plus I have models, environments, assets and I am trying to work out character designs.

So far, we are going well and are a strong 7 person team.

However, after looking at your art, I am blown away by it and almost asked if you wanted to do some illustrations and concept or even design work for us :3
But programming is nice too, I don't want to be a burden! :3

The last thing I want is to harass others and make them feel unwelcome, but at this point, I am looking for all the help I can get :3

Damn though, I went through your whole gallery and was blown away by every picture you have on your account, I wish I had that talent on my games :3

So tell me, what do you think?
Are you interested?

If there's some pay I'd be happy to make the time and contribute art. Wouldn't mind doing some stuff upfront to help sell the KickStarter.

There's definitely pay involved :3

Its something I am factoring into everyone who works with me as stretch goals.
With calculations so far, it averages into $7,000 per person or more for a year who needs the payment plus accommodations for particular needs.

First things first, how much would it take to survive a year on full-time development?
You can sum rent, bills and expenses into a monthly cost and multiply the sum by a year and you get a rough example of your payment for the year :3

When the project launches after KickStarter is funded, I will need a lot of concept artwork and illustration and will pay everyone fairly and accordingly.

Also, with the help to sell KickStarter upfront, there are actually a bit of concept artwork and illustration work that needs to be done, including character model sheets and stuff.

Are you willing to do that? :3
You will be paid fairly, so you don't have to worry about that :3

I don't expect much in the beginning, however, once I hire people with the funding from KickStarter, I will write contracts for everyone to do their work as assigned, including myself and everyone will have a say in it.

Consider it a real job if you are up for it if KickStarter makes it funded :3

Dang, I wish I could live off $600 a month. I have to make at least $2500 a month.

I can factor that as a stretch goal and calculate the costs for everything else :3

Would you like to make some artwork for the KickStarter presentation and when we get funded, more artwork?

Let me know, I would love to work with you :3

When's the Kickstarter and how much work is needed? I'm busy with a software project and commissions until November at least.

I plan to have the project presented on KickStarter around a few months from now.

For the presentation, a few character designs would be needed, and more designs once the funding comes in :3

Inkbunny and Tumblr work well together. Sometimes you want a little more structure, and that's where a gallery makes sense. If you want an art stream, Tumblr works well for that. The acquisition by Yahoo has me wondering how long it'll last for artists who do adult work, though.

Part of the comments/journal thing may be that Inkbunny is restricted to adults, though underage users are not the only source of such material. It's also very easy to ban users and/or delete comments.
