My grandpa has been questioning me and my uncle about hedgehogs as he finds ads for them on craigslist. This got me wondering about them, so I did a little research and I'm considering buying one in the not-so-near-but-still-foreseeable future, but I need some advice from anyone who's had experience with them.
1. How much does the initial pet cost? Supplementary materials excluded. Side Note: I am aware that they cost more the younger they are.
2. Once the pet and cage are aquired, how much, generally speaking, would monthly maintenance costs be?
3. Would they require a hamster cage, or perhaps something more like a guinea pig cage?
4. Do/Did your hedgehogs ever have bouts of affection or favouritism towards you or others?
