Here on Inkbunny, it's very unlikely that you don't know what Shotacon is, but I'll explain anyway, as a courtesy to anyone who might not know. Shotacon is the male counterpart of Lolicon, young boys. That's it, explanation done XD. Surprisingly, Shotas are actually treated quite differently from Lolis. They tend to be used surprisingly often for yoai, whereas Lolis are fucked by older males in straight sex most of the time. That's why straight sex involving Shotas had to have it's own category, Straight Shota.
Why do we love Lolicon? Well, several reasons really. First of all, the cuteness of Lolicon is appealing.
Secondly, Their body type can be anatomically exaggerated,while still maintaining the overall cute aesthetic. Seriously, look up the doujin called "Mating Inferno" that has the most incredible sex bomb of a Loli you will ever see, and that's not even mentioning the hot ass older ladies that are also in the comic. It's my all time favorite!
The biggest appeal though, is being able to engage in a sexual scenario that in real life would be totally wrong, but in a fictional fantasy, you can enjoy it with no guilt and with no consequence to anyone in real life. At the same time, it has nothing to do with reality. I enjoy Lolicon, but I despise pedophilia in real life. It's the same reason why I enjoy incest in porn, even though I'm actually grossed out by it in real life. Enough justification though, I'm getting off track.
So why do I love Straight Shota? First reason is the arousing appeal of the age and size difference in a harmless fictional scenario, like Lolicon.
Here's my biggest reason though: female dominance.
Female dominance over a regular guy is fun, but with a Shota...
In a Straight Shota scenario, the male character is smaller and weaker; the female character is larger and stronger. As a result, the female character is much more imposing, and overwhelmingly dominant. The cuteness of the Shota makes him feel more innocent, and as a result, feels more submissive, and gives a stronger feeling that he's being violated by the female character that's taking control. The more aggressive she is, the better.
Reverse-rape, a scenario where the guy is raped by the girl, is hard to pull off with adult male characters. Normally they have to be tied down, and when I see that, I know that they're tied down because they would have been physically capable of overpowering the female rapist otherwise. With Straight Shota however, the female character has superior physical strength, and uses it to pin the Shota down and violate him. It feels like a hard, ruthless, aggressive, reverse gendered rape, and I fucking love it.
I think that's why most, if not all, of so many people enjoy Tails getting fucked in Sonic porn. Because who else can we use for Straight Shota in Sonic porn? Charmy the bee? No thank you XD.
I have no doubt that it's the same reason why people love pairings like Rouge, or Vanilla. While it makes little sense logically, with Straight Shota porn logic, it makes all the sense in the world.
