Sourcing Erotic Game Resources (2D)

Given the abundance of erotic games made in standardized systems like Game Maker and the RPG Maker engines, I'm sure there must be some archives around for sharing existing resources, but I've never had much success in finding them. In hopes of creating my own games to be sold commercially, I've searched several times over the past two years to locate nude and sexualized spritesheets, facesets and other image sets, along with associated licensing information - and, as mentioned, haven't found much luck.

If any of you know of any good websites for downloading or purchasing these, or any good artists who specialize in this niche of pixel art, please list them in the comments below. Ripping them out of existing games isn't really wise for commercial products, regardless of credit, and certain search engines have repeatedly failed to serve me with non-stolen results when they could find any of the sort I sought.

you are unlikely to find much free assets like that, people just make their own, and if they all make it commercial and copyrighted then where you you expect to get free assets from? Most people who make these things, are japanese people who can barely speak english at all, and if you want underage assets then even on the japanese market there are very few artists who do games like that and they make it all commercial and copyrighted.

Also, "abundance of erotic games in game maker and the rpg maker" sounds like a massive overstatement, there are only a couple.
if you look at this, which is probably the most comprehensive list of any notable hentai games

there are maybe 10-20 hentai rpgs of any notability/quality max that i have ever heard of, and it is likely that most of them are only hentai in the sense that they have some hentai plot and some hentai scene, but probably lack things like porn sprites.

There are loads of hentai games, but they are all almost purely visual novels, and the vast majority of them is about adult characters. They lack any sort of assets that an rpg would need. The only thing they have is drawings of characters and drawings of backgrounds. Again, porn visual novels about lolis/shotas which have any level of quality are probably below 100 total.
Porn games about furry cubs are even rarer, I've only ever found like, less than 5, i think.
(if we disregard porn flashes which are limited to a single animation of a cub masturbation or something like that, but even those are rather few)

The few people that ever made a game like that aren't interested in making any of their assets public, so it's either you rip them or you make your own.

Either you'd have to get some artist to make it for you, probably a commissioned artist, or you have to make it yourself, or you rip it of someone's else work without their agreement.

I know, i spent some time looking for nude rpg or platformer sprites for research when making my own, and they are pretty much non-existent, there's probably like, less than 10 games total which have anything remotely related at all. Now, i don't know why that is, but I guess it's because it's not something people want to be known for, and it is also pretty hard to make, and if they end up making it then they almost always go commercial in one way or another or it doesn't calculate well, and they have even less interest in allowing others to use such assets.

It's possible that a bit more of such games exist on japanese market, as these games are still kind of taboo on the western market. But as far as i know even on the japanese portals these games are very few. Mostly it's just plain visual novels.

Speaking of which, making a platformer with a bunch of porn animations of sprites is really time consuming, I'm sure that plays a role in why there are so few. It's one thing to draw a character with a few battle animations, it's another thing to draw a pixel sprite fucking every single of the game monsters, it's pretty difficult. It's probably easier with an rpg, but that depends on what sort of animations and art one wants in there as well.
On the other hand, an ero visual novel is pretty simple to make in comparison, almost every artist can make one with a bit of effort. Which is why there's many more of these.

At least, that's as far as I've seen over the years, and as far as I know.

I don't necessarily need the assets to be free, hence why I included artists and purchase points in my information request. In similar manner, underage or furry assets would be welcome, but not specifically required here.

VS Recommends does have a number of good recommendations in various genre, but barely scratches the tip of the iceberg in any of them. Visiting any of the websites which frequently sell such material (such as DL Site or DigiKet) will quickly reveal that there are multitudes of hardcore erotic sprite-based computer games with side-scrolling or two-thirds top-down perspectives on the market. It is true that the quality of these, in gameplay and in art, ranges greatly and that many use either pictures or 3D model screenshots instead of (or in addition to) eroticized sprites, but enough such games exist that do use such sprites to point to there being a royalty-free or licensable collections, a large number of in-house artists working in that field for several publishing circles, and likely some freelance artists who readily accept such commissions.
