My three pieces of advice for any youngster out there:
* Consider options beyond college. Universities are overvalued. Vocational training/trade school is a shorter, cheaper option that will often grant you more job opportunities. The world needs more electricians, plumbers, carpenters, masons... than philosophers, philologists, historians or musicologists.
* Learn to invest properly (long term, value investing) and begin doing it regularly as soon as you have any income.
* Don't get your wisdom teeth removed if they are not annoying you.
