i seen someone defending nintendo to saying team cherry doesnt compare with nintendo and they cant make games better then nintendo because they are an indie company and small. i countered this arguement and pointed at hollow knight and cuphead and the release of silksong saying that nintendo doesnt care about quality, they only care about getting games out there to shut people up. proper videogame development takes years, time and dedication. the only reason it took so long for silksong to come out was cause team cherry were having way to much fun developing the game. cant say the same for nintendo. hollow knight, cuphead and silksong have to be the best games released in a long time. nintendo cant compare to these games because nintendo doesnt have the skill to make something that compares with it. look at the games that came out in the past... idk 10 to 15 years lets say, how good were they really? i hear people say sun and moon were good but i dont believe that. if they took the proper time to put in the effort into making the game then people would flock to it and buy it off the shelves immediately. silksong was the perfect example of this and everyone was hyped for it. hell hollow knight and cuphead are amazing examples of what a game company can do. but sadly they wont do it because effort in videogames and fun is to much for devs nowadays. its why i said indie devs put triple A makers to shame.
edit: also they say nintendo gets games out faster but this doesnt mean the game will be better. they only do this to please investors.
