We are losing the RV we are living in. The city says it’s there’s even though we had the papers but cause my grandfather who passed away a few years ago signed it. The city is saying it now void so we have to move out of it. We have a week to try and get another place to live or be on the streets.
Times are tough for us all and we understand if you can’t. No worries, I’m sure we can do something to bounce back and keep making art. take care everyone and be safe! <3
--------------------------------- (UPDATE - 05/13/2025) We are still losing the RV to the city but my Dad is letting us build a shed on some property he owns, It has to be 12ft x 10ft. We have been cleaning up all of the trash, foliage, and debris of the area before we could even start. We had to dig up the area to flatten it before we started the foundation. We are still working on the shed and we open to get it done soon. Be safe everyone <3

I really hope this issue of yours gets resolved somehow soon, and that you guys will be able to find another place to live in very soon, it's just so unfair...

You may not need the money. There are a few websites where you can at the very least get consulting for free, and if that shows you have a case then you might either qualify for legal aide or be able to find somone who will do it Pro Bono.

We did look it to that but two we got to look into this case just hit us with. “If you try to fight this, they will hit you loitering charges and vehicle insurance charges as well.” Even though we had vehicle insurance. Just not anymore after the city took clam over.

The best I can explain it is my Grandpa on my Dad side who we got the RV from was in debt before he passed so when he did the bank claimed a lot of his stuff. The RV was one of it, my Dad did try to see if he could get it the RV so he could give it to us but then he had to claim my Grandpa’s debt with it. I fully understand why he doesn’t want to do that. So we are trying to work things out another way.
