Oh yeah, Sonic Boom was a fun one! I remember being really into the idea of giving an edgier Sonic game the musical aesthetic of the Mega Man X games and going hard on importing tracks from the series. These days I could make them sound a lot better; back in those days our music importers didn't support music commands like pitch bends so the sequences were simpler than they could have been. I still think they sound okay but those songs probably deserved better. 2007 was a long time ago!
And yeah, I agree, Mousepad could end up being awesome if they make the right moves on creative freedom. Here's hoping it works out!
