Welp, here it is. today will be the final day of my furry career. Or at least the final day I identify as a furry. As most of you know I will be leaving the community to work on myself and explore my options outside the community where hopefully it leads to me having children. I've tried for 14 years to find someone within the community to start a family with but to put it blunty as I can there is a severe lack of available cis-women in the community. Most are already taken and very few want to have kids. and with Donald Trump running this ces pool of a country furries are even less likely to want to have kids. Now there are some lucky few who won the furry lottery and found the love of their lives or whatever and actually do have kids, but for the 99% of everyone else they either want kids and don't have em or are actively choosing to be childless.
Now look I've played the nice guy for 14 years and did everything in my power to try to find someone to relate to me where hopefully it lead to a relationship and eventually a familly. I've done everything right to the best of my ability so I can not explain to you why I don't have any children or am not in a relationship with someone of my opposite sex. I am in a relationship but it's with another guy, but don't take anything away from that as a bad thing as I truly do love my bunny very much. but two guys can not make a child. Thru out my entire furry career I've only ever attracted guys but I am bi-sexual so I have interest in women too. It's just you can't find them to put it bluntly again, I don't wanna beat around the bush and put sprinkles and flowers on and around it, women are in the fandom but the availability of them are extremely low.
I don't want anyone thinking this is a sex thing. Sex is great and a beautiful thing but I'd trade not getting pussy for the next 99 years over having a child any day. I want to start the next generation and the furry community doesn't give me that opportunity. I'm not an artist or an animator or a fursuit maker, but I do have a job. Do I like my job no but it's been keeping me stable for the last decade so something must be working. I have all the tools a man could need to assist in raising a child I just want a fair shake. Am I ready no, no one is ever truly ready to raise a child but within that I truly believe once you realize this you're ready enough to start to raise a child, the only thing left to do is have one. Unfortunately I do not see an avenue within the furry community that can help me with this. So that said I bid you one final good bye, I will probably be at FWA and/or London UK as I've pre-planned those events but outside of that I will not have much of a presence in the furry community for the next few months to few years to come. Not at least until I become a father, only then will I truly return to the fandom but until then you've given me 14 years of happiness and 14 years of heart ache but it's time I take back my life and I'm doing it in the best/only way I know how.
