I've been busy putting together some flash drives and collecting used picture frames to make framed pictures of my general rated artwork (SFW).
There is a doughnut shop that has an art gallery where you can hang up some artwork pictures to sell.
I see some of the 8 x 10s and 12 x 18s going for as high as $250.
Several months ago I bought some 4 x 6 picture frames at Wal-mart for $1 and 49 cents each, and ran some copies of my artwork on their photo kiosk at 14 cents each. The screws and hanger strips average at about 45 cents each. Each of those pictures sold for $15, having only slightly more than 2 dollars invested in each one. And 8 x 10 I had of a copy of the drawing I did of the train in the movie, Flame Over India" that sold for $35. There was a time I came into the doughnut shop, and they had $75 for me from the sales of the artwork I had there.
Lately, I've been buying picture frames at the thrift shops where I can get them for as low as $1 each instead of heading for Wal-mart, Most of these frames I get for $1 and are also in larger sizes, and are a lot higher quality frames. These frames look like they were high price when new, and a lot better looking than the budget frames Wal-mart sells.
I'm getting back into making up these pictures to sell.
As profitable as it has been, I'm surprised I've gotten away from it for a while.
