The Jab Archives has been hosting adult websites for artists since 1995, and they still do... with no censorship of people's art. That's very rare, it's not an easy thing to do, and it's very noble. Palcomix got their start there in 2003, and many artists still use it. Hell you can use it! Just don't ignore it or it'll die out. Places like these are rare, and supported by donations. If you've heard of Neocities, it's kind of like that but with a 28 year head-start.
… unfortunately due to dwindling financial support from the artists they are in danger of closing. This site has been around a long time and it’d be a damn shame if it closed… please consider supporting them.
has been pretty depressed about it lately. He wants to keep the site going, but he can't do it all by himself if everyone else just ignores it and nobody helps him support this.
All I have access to my name right now is $1.87 (4 quarters, 4 dimes, 5 nickles and 22 pennys). I've just now lait it out on the table and counted it. That kinda makes me feel like ole Fred Sanford, played by the late Red Fox, who stays broke much of the time.
However...I can, and will, boost a link to this journal so those in a position to donate can read it.

I never heard of Jab Archives but I did know of Palcomics. It saddens me to hear of websites in trouble or shutting down. It broke my heard when Gamewinners.com went dark.
How much does it cost to host the server? how big is it?

I've only seen Patreon and SubscribeStar links so far. It occurs to me that I forgot to link to the Jab Archives website itself. That would probably help.

Reminds me of another ancient site: http://us.vclart.net/vcl/ "Welcome to the VCL, the largest (hahaha, no) furry/anthropomorphic artwork and story library on the Internet."
Yes, that http (no s) is not a typo.
Oh, now I feel bad for abandoning it (JA). I had to use cached version to see it. :( :edit: No wait, stupid ISP issues I guess. It's working literally 2 minutes later!

I remember that site. It still (sort of) works. But you have to use the Wayback Machine to access some parts because its old CGI server scripts don't run anymore.

"Server bills? What server bills, I only see the barely used forums." Some sarcasm, but yeah, archive.org gives impression that it's just a link site, before link farmers abused that to death. I didn't see many images left. :(
I'm an edit-iot. I was thinking of WWOEC when making this reply.
VCL is almost fully mirrored on archive.org AFAIK?

Sort of. The thumbnail galleries are mirrored, but many of the full-sized pictures aren't. It would take some effort, but it might be a good idea to add them while VCL is still hanging in there.

Nothing we have is mirrored lol. Pair of servers on a rack mirroring each other for redundancy and we also host quite a few other sites :). But it’s all good.
