A question regarding comics.

I'm gonna need to branch out and try some comics at some point, I reckon, but I thought I'd ask you lot about them first, so I can keep it in mind. What I'd like to know is what you would want from me in a furry comic, just a single short story. Is there something you'd really like? Let me know the sort of things you look for and desire in a furry comic XP.

Oh and about my tablet, it's under warranty and I'll be getting a new one next week, so I'll be back in business in a few days.

Personally, I prefer story. I would rather read a comic with an amazing story with no sex, then a story that tries to reach a middle ground, and every paragraph can be shortened to "I'm being fucked, it feels good" *looks to RedRusker*

Still, I guess short comic wise, something that isn't the norm. Maybe alittle futuristic? Sifi? Maybe furry robots? I dunno. Ignore me, I guess.

Very much agreed. In my opinion, there are a bit too many comics out there already where maximizing the amount of pornographic content was the prime focus and the story's nothing more but an unsound scaffolding for what's going on.
I prefer comics where people actually put some effort into the story; to make the events more believable, and to actually make the comic's story different from - and especially fuller than - this massive amount of comics with plain scaffoldings that, when seen my me, easily bore and disinterest me rather than entertain and captivate me like proper stories.

I always like a good story. Whether or not there's porn doesn't matter much.

As for what sort of things I'd like to see in a comic by you, I'd like to see your political/religious/social commentaries (that are often paired with bondage or other silly scenarios) stretched out a bit. Maybe two characters have a deep discussion on a serious issue while one is busy tying the other one up for a night of fun or something. I've always liked how you put together a serious discussion with some random pseudo-sexual situation.

OMG i was just making a post about doing a comic =3 and i do looove your art style roarey ;3 i've been wantting todo little short comics of peddy luring cubs to him in some silly way, naughty stuff happens, then repercussions occur (like the parents or older siblings catching them in the act an a fitting 'punishment').

I want it to be cute and lighthearted. what do ya think? if you start taking comishies for them count me in if you like the idea ^w^

Keep nudity/sex to a minimum and avoid cliches when possible. That's my advice. There's a billion damn stories/comics out there of two people meeting and instantly falling in love after having sex on their first day of knowing each other.

Whatever it is, if the characters are bottomless, I'd give it a look. :V
Honestly, I think one could take just 2 of your cute male furs in lounging mode at home and just have them talk to each other and something cool would come out of that.~

Same stuff you're known for with pinups, I'd wager.

Heck, I'd say since you are unsure on how to proceed, you should do the first comic entirely based on what you find interesting, and then worrying about your audience later.

I say do a story on the two characters you love the most. Tails & another one. Something involving them during the beginning middle end. Let's say... (Best Friend comes over... goes to park & play... back home and eat snacks... play games for a while... fall asleep on each other)

Awesome!  ive been hoping you would branch out into comics at some point in time.  cant wait to see your cute style used in one.

As far as what goes into it i have to agree with alot of people on having a good story line.  Sex...  Though it can be fun and all i would say it is not neccisarry to have in a comic.  Honestly i think some of the best "love story" comics i have read had everything leading up to it and then everything after.  But they left that out (or up to your imagination).  So i am guessing what i am trying to say is a good story line beats porn any day in my world (as small as it may be).

When it comes to stuff id like to see...  ^_^  would be quite cool to see another AATC comic.  Alvin being mischevious and getting in trouble, Simon trying to stop him, theo being cute and innocent as always.  That sort of thing would be fun to read IMO.

And when you do start doing them or when you come up with a base price let me know.  I have a few clean stories (that i have not quite finished) that id love to see put into comic form.

Short fast moving comics are best (maybe self contained also). Not 20 pages (unless they are awesome pages, of course) more like 2 to 5. Lots of artists try and do epics, and while they look awesome the story hardly progresses over the months and years it takes to draw them.

chance who replied first summed up my opinion quite accuratly, i like story and depth. comics with conflict and suspense are also great, but regardless of what kind you choose to make you know all your fans will love it and support you<3333
