Posing

It is wrong to steal some artist's posing of their characters from their art?
Like, I kinda have some difficulty in doing posing and crap, so I look at other lewd art and try to "copy" the posing for my things...

It thag bad? Does that count as tracing, but in 3d lol?

thats called referencing. it's impossible to steal a pose.

You think? Its just there was an artist in Twitter creating drama because he found one 3d artist was "copying" his draws by posing 3d models with the same exact poses.

it's twitter. they get pissed over everything. especially if it's nothing.

Well, being just a reference it's fine, but if you think it looks too similar, just leave a link in the description with the reference you used.
Hope this helps :)

I guess. Like the guy above, I can use references and everything. Its just there was drama in Twitter about an 3D artist apparently "tracing" someone's art because one 3D model had the exact same pose.

Thanks!

Well, let's be honest, nobody owns any pose.
Not to mention, well...it's Twitter, people get pissed for nothing...

there is a huge difference between referencing and tracing. tracing is always wrong. but imitating a pose is not tracing. it's referencing. referencing is not only okay, but *mandatory* to learn how to draw.

It called getting inspired or referenced...or just plain having an idea in your head

You can never  EVER copy a 'pose' cause no matter what you'll always change juuust a bit without noticing it

And not it does not count as Tracing....unless you're a wizard in the 3d work to 'copy' the exact: looks, pose lighting and details
