Time seems to do that.. When we're kids we're constantly learning and needing to remember things, so time seems slow and every day nearly eternal. When we're adults and the brain finally becomes adult, the need to remember every little thing goes away. So the perceived passage of time seems to fly by. Which when one thinks about it, is a blessing because work can be intolerably boring should time be perceived at a slower pace. On the one hand we wish it would last. At other times we are glad it goes by quickly. x.o
